Linwood Public Charter School is transforming cultures, improving instruction and cultivating systems that impact student achievement. We are working to create a holistic approach to learning. As we continue in our efforts, we have identified needs that greatly impact student performance and social emotional learning.

Transforming culture starts with a positive learning environment in which students feel safe and welcomed. Positive Behavior Intervention Support (PBIS) provides just that. The implementation of PBIS strategies provides structures and system that create positive engagement and procedures for all.

Transforming instruction is an essential component of improving academic success. At Linwood we have provided our staff with streamlined professional development that is content specific, flexible and geared towards individualized learning.

Transforming systems is an integral part to improving processes in an organization. At Linwood we have implemented the following:
• Learning Organization Framework (Data-Analysis-Strategy)
• Weekly professional development
• Growth testing and benchmark testing
• Parent conferences
• Coaching and developing teachers
• Structured Tier 1 curriculum products (Guidebooks, ARC, EUREKA, ZEARN)
• Exposure to STEM activities

Students can enter LPCS in Pre-K and continue through 8th grade. We welcome those who are interested in learning more about our school by visiting www.linwoodcharter.org or following us on Facebook or IG @linwoodpubliccharter.
