EDUCATION
- Growing the future leaders of northwest Louisiana through the Bossier Youth Leadership Program, where select high school juniors from Bossier Parish are trained on leadership roles and gain experience through civic engagement.
- Providing students with financial assistance through scholarships, dual enrollment fees, and industry based certification costs.
- Partnering with local school systems to assist in mentoring.
INNOVATION & ENTREPRENEURSHIP
- Growing innovation, intellectual property, and the entrepreneurial ecosystem within the area and educating individuals on all of the entrepreneurial resources and organizations that are present within the community.
- Partnering with local and regional organizations to bring Innovation NWLA, a regional innovation summit, to Bossier-Shreveport.
COMMUNITY ENHANCEMENT
- Working closely with Bossier City and regional partners to relay business concerns on such topics as infrastructure, workforce development, workforce training, and talent recruitment.
Mission
The Bossier Innovates Foundation is dedicated to advancing the economic, educational and entrepreneurial opportunities of the region, particularly those programs of the Bossier Chamber of Commerce. We strive to promote programming that cultivates growth and development of a thriving business community in NWLA.
