Resurrection Fellowship

Our mission statement and vision statement are one and the same. "Building God's Kingdom, Growing God's People" As the Youth of Resurrection Fellowship Church, we want to fulfill this vision. We call ourselves ROYALTY, Reaching-Out to-Young people-Aspiring to live for the-Lord-Together as a-Youth group. Also, we call ourselves this because we are children of the King doing His work. We want to take this mission trip to share the word of God, His love, and help those who are in need. On July 14, 2013, we will be leaving for Freeport, Bahamas. Upon arrival, we will be visiting an orphanage. We will sing to the kids, read to them, play with them, and simply show them the love they are lacking from their parents by demonstrating the love of Christ. We will also be bringing them supplies like socks, deodorant, etc.... Secondly, we will be conducting a Vacation Bible School with the neighborhood children. We will also show them the love of God and spread His word in a way they can understand. We will be bringing them Bibles and tracts as well. Lastly, we are partnering with a church down there that is part of our conference (Converge Worldwide). They are called Mount Gilead Union Baptist Church. In 2006, Hurricane Isaac wiped out their church. They just now this February got approved for a loan to build a new one. We will be helping with construction during that week as well. As you see, this is nowhere near a vacation trip. We are going to serve and serve only. May our God be pleased by our sacrifices in His name.
