BFF of DeDoto Animal Services is absolutely delighted to partake in the 2025 Shelter Slumber Pawty fundraiser, marking its return for a second magical year after the resounding triumph of last year's event. This time, the Slumber PAWTY has set its sights on an ambitious target of raising $20,000.
Our rural community faces challenges in keeping beloved pets in their homes. We are diligently working towards the establishment of a spay/neuter clinic right here in DeSoto Parish, along with expanding community-based initiatives to ensure these cherished animals remain in their forever homes, preventing them from finding their way to the shelter.
- Spay/Neuter clinic in DeSoto Parish o Helping to reduce the overwhelming number of unwanted and uncured for!
- Rabies and Vaccine Clinics (to ensure community safety and control outbreaks)
- Microchips to assist with home returns
- Heartworm Treatment and education "Louisiana has one of the highest heartworm infection rates in the country"
- Emergency assistance/pantry assistance
