Fairfield Elementary Magnet Foundation

The Fairfield Elementary Magnet Foundation is in its infancy, with its inception beginning during the 2019-2020 school year. So far, the Foundation has raised over $450,000. Those funds have directly impacted the school in the following ways: purchasing SMART boards for teacher classrooms, renovating and painting the school cafeteria, and installing a new state-of-the-art playground.

8This year, we will continue our capital campaign to raise funding for the Fairfield Fieldhouse. This new facility located where the existing basketball court is currently located will provide a multitude of positive outcomes for our school. Currently, the school has no location that will house the entire student body at one time. This fieldhouse will provide that opportunity for students to meet for pep rallies, important announcements, and positive team building. Additionally, parent involvement will be able to increase with the additional space on back to school nights and grandparents day. Children will have the opportunity to have inside recess in a larger area rather than in their respective classrooms. Additionally, after-school sports practices can be held at the fieldhouse. Overall, the facility will serve as a point of pride for the Fairfield community and the surrounding neighborhood community at large. The targeted funding amount for this project is $500,000 of which $280,000 has already been secured. The roll out of the project is expected to happen in phases with the groundbreaking happening as soon as possible.
