The Gingerbread House is a community-based, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that works collaboratively with law enforcement, child protective services, the district attorneys' offices, and medical and mental health professionals to investigate, prosecute, and treat cases of child sexual abuse and severe physical abuse, including cases of commercial sexual exploitation, pornography, and human trafficking. The Gingerbread House, an Accredited Child Advocacy Center with National Children's Alliance, has been serving the Northwest Louisiana community for 28 years, and handles the heaviest forensic interview case load out of the 14 child advocacy centers in Louisiana.

977 children received forensic interviews, multidisciplinary investigations, child life, and family advocacy services, averaging 81 newly identified child victims per month.

167 child victims and their non-offending caregivers received trauma-informed counseling services.

204 victims of commercial sexual exploitation of children (CSEC) received comprehensive direct care services and case management: 7 confirmed child sex trafficking victims, 116 suspected child sex trafficking victims, 81 high-risk child sex trafficking victims
- As part of our prevention efforts, over 53,265 children and adults participated in 786 educational outreach sessions

172 child victims received a pediatric forensic medical exam (during the months of July 1, 2025 - December 31, 2025; a new program acquired by the Gingerbread House).
