250 Trees for 250 Years
In 2026, America turns 250 years old. What better way to celebrate than contributing to the beautification and preservation of the communities we love?
Our area tree canopy has suffered tremendously in recent years from deep freezes, severe droughts and other severe weather. Trees are a silent but tremendous power in our communities. They work to store carbon and slow gases that warm our planet. They remove air pollution, provide shade to cool us and serve as a safe habitat for wildlife. Trees and forests filter your water, making your drinking supply cleaner and more reliable. Research even shows that time among the trees can positively impact our physical and mental wellbeing.
Trees do a lot for us. Let's make sure they remain a vital part of our community.
Keep Bossier Beautiful has successfully planted hundreds of trees with the help of generous community members. We are asking for your help to raise $20,000 to purchase and plant 250 additional trees in our communities. That's just $80 to help provide for the purchase, planting and maintenance of each tree.
