5 Loaves: 2 Fish Ministry is a faith-based volunteer outreach mission that addresses food insecurity in Lincoln Parish Louisiana with a mobile feeding program.  The need for additional food resources is great!  Data from United Way shows that in 2023 Lincoln Parish had 62% of households earning below the ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) survival level income! 

Our mission is to provide hot healthy meals to low-income residents in Ruston, Grambling, Simsboro, Choudrant and Dubach neighborhoods on a routine sustainable basis.  Our role is to coordinate community resources for food, water, supplies, and volunteers to feed people at least twice per month.  Our website - 5loaves2fishruston.org - features our mission, partners, upcoming food distribution events, and photos.
