Since opening our doors in 1992, David Raines Community Health Centers (DRCHC) has always been committed to providing quality and affordable health care. We are a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), providing health care to all regardless of race, national origin, insurance status or income. We are nationally accredited by the Joint Commission.

DRCHC offers family medicine, pediatrics, dental, optometry, dental, behavioral health, and WIC (Women, Infants & Children) services. We operate two (2) patient pharmacies offering access to affordable prescription medications. We accept Medicaid, Medicare, VA, commercial and private insurance. For person who may be uninsured we offer sliding fee discounts based on level of income.

DRCHC is actively involved in the fight against the COVID-19 virus. Rapid COVID testing is available. COVID vaccine shots are being administered, based on availability, at our community-based health center locations.

DRCHC operates six (6) community-based health centers in four (4) parishes and five (5) school-based health centers. The community-based health centers are in Bossier City, Gilliam, Haynesville, Minden & two (2) in Shreveport. School-based health centers are located at Atkins Elementary, J.S. Clark Elementary, Oak Park Elementary, Linwood Charter & Woodlawn Senior High. Services are available to only the students attending those schools and is not accessible to the public.
