Evangel Christian Academy

Evangel Christian Academy is focused on educating students in a Christ-centered environment starting from our daycare program through our high school. In the midst of an ever-changing world, we know that parents need real help. At Evangel, we not only teach the educational fundamentals, but also the spiritual fundamentals.

Our students represent a blend of cultures, nationalities, income levels and social backgrounds and our students benefit from learning how to successfully work, compete and partner with those of varying backgrounds. Evangel students are not only highly recruited academically, but also athletically. We succeed in the State Literary Rally, Science Olympiad Competitions, in the arts, in the classroom and in the numerous extracurricular activities and sports we offer.

New families often tell us they are amazed at the strong feeling of family and unity that is ever-present at Evangel. Evangel founders, Rodney and Frances Duron, cultivated this family atmosphere when the school opened in 1980 and current Chancellor Denny and wife DeAnza Duron continue this culture. We embrace diversity and a culture of equality among all students. We challenge our students academically, teach them how to overcome life's challenges, to succeed, to achieve their dreams, and to learn to work with other students.
