Friends of Louisiana State Exhibit Museum, Inc.

LSEM Friends sponsors exhibits and educational programming centered around the art, archaeology, history, natural history and resources of Louisiana. Programs include - Project Talent Art Exhibit for high school students entering art school; the Greening during the holidays for 3rd grade art students to design holiday decorations; Regional trials for National History Day; Archaeology programs for middle school students. All programs require school busing, which the Friends can support.

Located at the crossroads of I-20 and I-49, LSEM is also the state's ambassador to travelers, who learn about the unique culture and people of Louisiana. Regional residents make frequent visits for special events and educational programs.
