Empowering Our Youth: The Junior Achievement Difference
Imagine a generation of young people confident about their financial futures, excited about their career paths, and inspired to create their own opportunities. That's exactly what Junior Achievement delivers.
Through engaging, hands-on lessons in financial literacy, career readiness, and entrepreneurship, Junior Achievement doesn't just teach students, it transforms their futures. Our nationally-recognized programs align with educational standards while bringing real-world relevance to the classroom.
The impact in North Louisiana speaks volumes: During the 2023-2024 school year, we reached over 10,000 students across Caddo, Bossier, and Rapides parishes and are set to serve 14,000 this year. With 366 dedicated volunteers from our community, we brought practical, hands-on learning directly to K-12 classrooms, creating vital connections between academic concepts and real-world success in today's global economy.
The results are clear: JA Alumni are more likely to earn college degrees, manage their finances with confidence, achieve career success, and even launch their own businesses.
When communities invest in Junior Achievement, they're not just supporting a program, they're helping shape the innovators, leaders, and achievers of tomorrow.
At Junior Achievement, our mission is to inspire and equip young people with the skills they need to succeed in today’s global economy.
Our Vision
We envision a world where every young person has the mindset and skillset to build strong, thriving communities.
