Junior League of Shreveport-Bossier, Inc.

The Junior League of Shreveport-Bossier's mission is to advance women’s leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training. Each year we research and develop projects with the goal of improving our community. Volunteers are then trained to execute these projects.

For the current league year, the JLSB's members have supported the following community projects:

Active Kids, in partnership with the Boys and Girls Club in Shreveport, is a weekly summer program that teaches children health literacy with a focus on active living, hygiene and healthy eating  

Artist for a Day at the Red River Revel, in partnership with the Red River Revel, Inc., serves 1500+ children each fall at the Revel. Offering free art projects that teach children about different artists. 

Red Apron Pantry - in partnership with the Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana. The JLSB works to end food insecurity in our area by serving families with our client’s choice food pantry. Our pantry serves clients on the third Thursday of each month.

M.A.G.I.C. (Mentoring Ambitious Girls to Inspire Change) - in partnership with the VOA North Louisiana Teen Club. This mentorship program runs throughout the school year. We are proud that we have offered scholarships to participating seniors as they continue their education after graduating high school!
