Who We Are: The Kitten Cradle is a volunteer-powered, 501(c)(3) non-profit rescue dedicated to the most vulnerable members of our animal community: orphaned, abandoned, and at-risk kittens in the Shreveport/Bossier City area. We believe that every kitten, no matter how small or fragile, deserves a chance at a long and happy life.

What We Do: Unlike traditional shelters, The Kitten Cradle operates through a dedicated network of foster homes and a small facility. This allows our kittens to grow up in a loving environment where they receive:

• Critical Medical Care: From life-saving "bottle-baby" neonatal support to essential vaccinations and spay/neuter surgeries.

• Socialization: Transitioning from the streets to a home environment to ensure they are well-adjusted and ready for their forever families.

• Community Education: Empowering our neighbors with the knowledge to care for feral colonies and recognize life-threatening conditions like Fading Kitten Syndrome.
