"Give the Gift of a New Chapter"

For 1 in 4 adults in Northwest Louisiana - that's 100,000 of our adult neighbors - basic reading and math are daily hurdles.  You can be the one to help them clear them.

We are proud of our students' successes!

Shared Successes 2025

The Story: The Quiet Revolution

The most profound changes often happen in silence.

They happen in the quiet focus of a late-night study session, in the steady breath taken before a certification exam, and in the first confident handshake at a new job. In 2025, that quiet determination sparked a revolution in the lives of our students.

Behind every data point is a neighbor who decided that their past would not dictate their future. We saw parents reclaiming their confidence, workers leveling up their skills, and students proving that it is never too late to start a new chapter. These aren't just milestones; they are the building blocks of stronger families and a more equitable community. This is what happens when potential meets opportunity. This is our 2025 impact, and we are proud to be a part of these successes:

 2025 Impact by the Numbers

The Path to Education

  • The Ultimate Milestone: 5 dedicated individuals officially earned their high school diploma, closing one chapter and opening doors to a lifetime of new possibilities.
  • The Home Stretch: 12 more students are on the brink of success—2 are fully test-ready, and 10 are nearing the finish line.
  • The Next Coterie of Learners: 70 adults have officially enrolled with us and the Bossier Parish Community College Transition Program after completing their initial assessments. We are proud to tutor them as they begin the rigorous journey toward their high school diplomas and breaking new ground for their families.

Higher Learning & Specialized Skills

  • Campus Bound: 3 students are currently pursuing higher education, representing us at Bossier Parish Community College (BPCC) and Northwest Louisiana Technical Community College (NLTCC).
  • Certified Experts: 16 professional certifications were earned, spanning vital local industries:
    • Industrial Readiness Training & CDL
    • Phlebotomy & ServSafe
    • Professional Customer Service
  • Workforce Prepared: 19 individuals successfully completed their ACT WorkKeys Assessments, proving they have the foundational skills local employers need.

Economic Empowerment

  • A New Beginning: Perhaps most importantly, the hard work translated into stability, with 36 full-time job hires this year alone.

The momentum is building, and we aren't stopping now! Will you stand with us?

Your support ensures we have the resources to walk alongside these 70 students every step of the way.

Every lesson we provide is a bridge from isolation to opportunity - dismantling the barriers of poverty and creating lasting stability in local community.

Whether it’s a student finally reading "The Call of the Wild" or an entrepreneur like Jenny gaining the fluency to launch her own food truck, your donation provides the free tutoring, workbooks, and support needed to change a life. This Give for Good, help us turn the page for our neighbors in Caddo and Bossier Parishes.

"It's like reading a movie!"
