Plant A Seed educates, uplifts, and shapes our children into individuals who will be a positive influence in the community and society at large. We are a nonprofit, Christian-based organization that shares practical and biblical principles through afterschool and summer camp programming and sports, including youth basketball.

We also work to change the landscape of our community one dream at a time, and to challenge the mindset of mediocrity by replacing it with an outlook that embraces limitless possibilities. We uplift our neighbors with special events, including an yearly celebration and resource fair that helps organizations connect with community members.

In 2026, we will expand our services to provide resources and programming to senior citizens. We also are working to build a permanent home for Plant A Seed in Bossier City that will become a gathering place for people of all ages.

Our mission is to uplift our communities from the ground up—one dream, one person at a time. We work to break the cycle of limited thinking by planting seeds of knowledge, hope, and self-belief. By investing in our youth and teaching them to be thoughtful, capable, and community-minded, we help grow future leaders who will carry the torch of positive change for generations to come.
