The Shreve Memorial Library Foundation raises charitable gifts to support early literacy and lifelong learning. Efforts are primarily directed to Summer Reading programs at the 21 branches in the Shreve Memorial Library System and the Children's Book Festival, held annually on the LSUS Campus.
The Shreve Memorial Library Foundation is guided by a volunteer Board of Directors, consisting of 14 community members.
