YWCA of Northwest LA

A nonprofit organization

$3,605 raised by 31 donors

In Northwest Louisiana, the YWCA operates in three locations to fulfill its mission: the elimination of racism, the empowerment of women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom and dignity for all. The programs of the YWCA include LEAD (Leadership, Empowerment and Development) for low-income teen girls, low-cost or free individual counseling for women and teen girls, education and support for senior women (62 and older) focusing on digital literacy and safety, parenting and support for families and DCFS clients, and racial justice educational programs and opportunities for connection and community. We also operate a resale shop, Fab Finds, that supports all of the programs of the YWCA and helps to promote our mission.
