About Bossier Arts Council
The Bossier Arts Council was established in 1980 through a partnership between a local arts organization and the City of Bossier, with a shared vision of bringing meaningful arts experiences to the community. Since then, BAC has remained a dedicated partner in enriching the cultural landscape for both residents and visitors to our region.
In the address they called home for over 40 years, the organization has grown, expanding opportunities in community theatre, visual arts, festivals and exhibitions, arts education for all ages, public art initiatives, and fundraising programs that have helped support local creatives. For decades this growth has been visible throughout the city in public murals, large-scale sculptures, a metal art zoo, a creative hub providing classroom and meeting space for artists, educators, and community groups, and more.
This next chapter looks different and has a new address, but the mission hasn’t changed. As the Bossier Arts Council moves into a new space with renewed purpose, we will need support now more than ever. By donating to our Give for Good campaign our community gets to be part of what comes next. Every dollar helps us continue creating opportunities, supporting artists, and showing up for our community in meaningful ways.
