Community Connections Inc. guiding principle is to serve families and veterans. We have seen first-hand how many individuals who are in need of help are unable to navigate the system and reach the right organizations for the help needed. Community Connections is the one stop shop for families and veterans to get their needs met by staff and/or volunteers who understands their circumstances. We are here to restore faith and hope in the lives of the ones we serve one individual at a time.

CCI currently serves families and veterans in the Monroe, La., and Shreveport, La., and their surrounding areas. Our vision is to see a world in which the needs of families and veterans are within their chosen communities that enhance their quality of life such as basic necessities, physical and mental health and life skills.

Veterans Services: Our Veterans have played a vital role in ensuring whatever peace our country has achieved over the years through their sacrifice. Community Connections, Inc. is grateful and has partnered up with local Veterans Homes in Monroe, and Shreveport. Through this partnership we provide items for their personal needs, resources and opportunities for socialization, and special holiday celebrations for these brave men and women.

Community Outreach: Community Connections feels it is vital to give back to the community and positively impact the lives of persons who do not have the resources to experience the abundance of life that many others take for granted such as food, clothing, household items, and leisure time activities. We have been making a difference in the lives of other since 2006.

H.O.P.E. Closet: The H.O.P.E. (Helping Others to Excel and Prosper) Closet is a unique program that is available to families, veterans and senior citizens on a fixed income. The H.O.P.E. Closet will distribute food, diapers, and personal hygiene products (such as soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste and deodorant). Along with the basic necessities, The H.O.P.E. Closet will provide access to case management and mental health services.
