DeSoto Regional Health System Foundation

The DeSoto Regional Health System Foundation raises funds to assist DeSoto Regional Health System in providing excellent health care for our rural communities through the funding of much needed capital improvements and projects. Donations are used for equipment purchases, facility renovations or additions and/or other hospital capital improvements. Donations are not used for the daily operational costs of the hospital.
For over 60 years DeSoto Regional Health System has served the people of DeSoto Parish and surrounding communities. Located in the northwest corner of Louisiana, it is the only hospital in DeSoto Parish and serves several parishes and counties in the region. Our community is blessed to have a rural hospital that can offer many services for its patients - a 24-hour ER, Radiology, Surgical and Lab Departments, a Cancer Center, inpatient care and outpatient services that utilize visiting physicians from a variety of specialized medical fields. In addition, the hospital is continuously working to upgrade equipment, replace worn out furnishings and maintain the infrastructure of an aging facility. Many of these purchases and projects are not possible without the donations made by our patrons.
With cuts in state and federal funding, lower private insurance payouts and ever increasing federal and state regulations, the Foundation's mission to support DeSoto Regional Health System with funding for capital improvements is more important than ever before. We appreciate our many loyal patrons and look forward to meeting new supporters who share the vision of providing the best possible health care to the rural communities we serve.
