All homeless young adults have one thing in common - a lack of resources and a support system. Too often, they find themselves unemployed, under educated, and often times in trouble with law enforcement. Faith and Fostering offers a support system that assists in locating resources to provide options. The organization's goal of independence is 21-24 months, but each situation is unique and the time of support varies with each individual. Each individual is not molded to fit Faith and Fostering program goals, but program goals are molded to fit each individual.

It is Faith and Fostering's mission to foster homeless young adults through community and connections to live a life of hope and purpose. This mission is carried out by an initial assessment, meeting basic needs, and providing a support system. For each young adult, community volunteers are utilized to wrap around and establish positive adult relationships. They also assist in locating resources to help their assigned young adult learn how to achieve and maintain a life of independence. By providing housing, a support system, and case management, Faith and Fostering is positively impacting the homeless, unemployment, and crime rates in Northwest LA.
