With a history of dating back to 1858 as the Hebrew Mutual Benevolent Association, the organization's mission over time has adapted to the needs of the community. We are proud to serve both the Jewish community and the community at large. The North Louisiana Jewish Federation was incorporated with the state of Louisiana as the Shreveport Jewish Federation in 1967. The current name was adopted in 1997.
