Pearls of Humanity Foundation, Incorporated have partnered with several local entities, including, but not limited to, Alzheimer's Association, Habitat for Humanity UNCF, Sickle Cell Disease Association of Northwest Louisiana, The American Heart Association, The Theatre of Performing Arts, Hope Connection, Christian Services, Petrina's Purple Passion, C. Wright Pink Ribbon Project, and Common Ground Community, Inc to support these goals. Involving the community and collaborating with its members is an integral component to the success of our programs. Our programs tentacles reach into the African American communities of the greater Shreveport/Bossier area which encompasses the parishes of Caddo, Bossier, Desoto and Webster. Louisiana's underserved communities are especially prone to experiencing access-related health disparities. This lack of access to health care and its direct correlation to high incidences of certain diseases is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the fight to bring precision medicine and treatments to these underserved communities. The Pearls of Humanity Foundation has been successful in improving the trajectory of our community by increasing the potential for individual success and laying the foundation for positive, productive, and fulfilling lives.
