North Louisiana Farm Fresh (NLFF) operates the Ruston Farmers Market, a year-round market that supports local growers, small businesses, and food access for all. Our vendors offer fresh produce, meat, eggs, and handmade goods each week, creating a vibrant hub for the Ruston community.
The market proudly accepts SNAP and works to increase the use of these benefits through outreach and incentives. We also serve as an incubator for small businesses—many of whom get their start with us—and offer a welcoming space for connection around local food.
In 2024, we completed a major renovation of our building at 220 E. Mississippi Ave. and launched the Drew Jones Teaching Kitchen, a hands-on space for cooking classes and community programming focused on preparing seasonal, local food.
We host community events year-round—like night markets, seasonal dinners, and cooking contests—that bring people together and celebrate local food. These gatherings create lasting memories and help deepen our connection with the community.
Your donation helps us sustain and grow this work—by maintaining the teaching kitchen, expanding community offerings, supporting vendor development, and boosting our efforts to reach more SNAP shoppers.
Together, we’re growing a healthier, more connected Ruston.
