Yogie and Friends is the only sanctuary in the state of Louisiana dedicated to the rescue of FIV positive domestic cats. Cats that are often destroyed as a result of having these viruses. We educate the public about these cats and how it is not a death sentence. With proper love, care, and nutrition, these cats can live a long, and otherwise healthy, life. We are a 100% volunteer driven organization. Nobody receives any compensation for the work they do at Yogie and Friends.
Mission
To rescue, and provide sanctuary, to Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) positive domestic cats. We provide them a permanent home.
