for PRIZE FUNDS, LAGNIAPPE FUND, and DAF gifts
Organizations will receive Lagniappe funds, prize money, and donations made through a Donor Advised Fund at CFNLA in a separate disbursement from CFNLA after the verification period (up to 30 days) and final accounting for Give For Good day has been made (typically early to mid-June). CFNLA disbursements will be made by ACH. All organizations are required to provide ACH information directly to CFNLA for disbursements. If you need to make changes to where your prize funds, Lagniappe bonus, and DAFs should be sent, please contact Frannie at 318-221-0582 or powers@cfnla.org.

for ONLINE GIFTS made through the platform:
Online gifts received through giveforgoodnla.org will be disbursed to your organization by Mightycause Charitable Foundation (MCF) following the disbursement schedule below. Please review your disbursement settings on your organization page to confirm your banking information or legal address is correct for disbursements that will be issued by MCF.

MCF provides bi-monthly disbursements through Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Donations are distributed on the 10th and 25th of each month.
Nonprofits with EFT can expect to receive their donations on the:
10th of the month, for donations made from the 16th of the previous month through the last day of the previous month.
25th of the month, for donations made from the 1st through the 15th of that same month.
Optionally, you can choose to receive funds by check which are disbursed on the 10th of the month for all gifts made during the previous month. (Please note, checks incur a $5 fee and require a minimum of $25 for disbursement. For this reason we highly recommend orgs set up EFT for disbursements which have no fee and no minimum.)

Locating the Mightycause Disbursement Report
Your organization’s disbursement report offers a detailed breakdown of the funds deposited through EFT. If you are an administrator for your organization, follow the steps below:
1. Log in to your administrative account.
2. Click on your user icon in the top-right corner, and then select your organization in the dropdown.
3. Select Reports on the left-hand navigation

4. Select Disbursement from the sub-menu or directly from the landing page.
5. After selecting Disbursements you will land on a page with details from each of your payouts. Simply click on one of the items to view the full details.

Understanding the Mightycause Disbursement Report
Your disbursement report provides a detailed summary, including the donations included in the disbursement, any adjustments applied, and a final breakdown explaining how the total amount deposited into your account was calculated. Reminder: Donations are disbursed around the 10th or 25th for EFT disbursements and around the 10th of the following month for check disbursements. For example, when a donor makes a contribution in December, the disbursement will occur in January.

At the top of your Disbursement Report, you will see some general informaiton including the date the EFT was processed, your organization information, and the amount deposited into your account.
In the next section, you will find every donation that was included in the disbursement, including the date the gift was made, and the amount of the donation.
Finally, you’ll find a summary that combines all the sections outlined above into a single, comprehensive breakdown.
