North Louisiana Farm Fresh operates the Ruston Farmers Market year-round, which hosts vendors who provide produce, meat, eggs, and value-added goods to our community. Our market accepts SNAP, serves as an incubator for small businesses, and provides fresh and healthy food to our community. In 2023, we are remodeling our building at 220 E. Mississippi Ave, Ruston, to add the Chautauqua Kitchen. This teaching kitchen will allow NLFF to provide programming to teach community members about preparing local food. Donations to the Ruston Farmers Market allow us to complete our kitchen build, create programming, recruit new vendors, and improve our marketing to increase the SNAP dollars spent at our market. Ruston Farmers Market is a program of the 501(c)(3) nonprofit, North Louisiana Farm Fresh. Its mission is to connect North Louisiana agricultural producers to consumers and to promote local, sustainable food networks through direct-marketing opportunities and educational outreach.
