St. John Berchmans - SVdP Conference

One hundred percent (100%) of your donation goes directly toward assisting those in need! 

The annual Give For Good campaign is the PRIMARY source of funding that enables the Cathedral of St. John Berchmans' St. Vincent de Paul Conference to provide one-time emergency assistance to Friends in Need who reach out to us. The funding is used to prevent homelessness as we help to prevent evictions and utility disconnections and provide emergency food until the following monthly benefits are received. Please help us to assist those who need a helping hand by donating to this worthy ministry.

Diocesan Appeal Support of St Vincent de Paul:  Through the generosity of the Bishop of Shreveport, the Eastern District (6 conferences), the Southern District (1 conference), and the Western District (12 conferences), the Society of St. Vincent de Paul (SVdP) receives annual support from the Diocesan Appeal.  Because of this support, the 19 SVdP Conferences and Councils can pay for their insurance, solidarity dues, and operating costs (i.e., storage fees, Helpline phone line, printing costs) without using funds given by our parishioners on behalf of those in need.  With your Give For Good support, the Cathedral of St. John Berchmans' St. Vincent de Paul Conference can use 100% of your donation to assist those not as materially blessed.
