Why You Should Donate
Renesting is an awesome organization, I know how much it means to Emily. I'm happy to support it but... I still want to raise the most on the Manchester+ team! Help me dominate by donating to my fundraiser for Renesting instead of anyone else's! The only prize I receive is the glory of knowing I did a better job fundraising for this challenge than my wife who is a PROFESSIONAL FUNDRAISER as part of her JOB!
How I Came to be The Executive Volunteer
My wife, Emily, started working at Renesting as an intern right around the time we started dating. I've watched her grow personally and professionally within the organization and have been "voluntold" on numerous occasions, often finding out about an upcoming task by seeing it on our family calendar. Now that she's the Executive Director I am jokingly called the Executive Volunteer, I'll tell you... the pay isn't great. Renesting is an important part of our relationship, so much so that I mentioned my new title in our wedding vows. But it's also an important part of our community as the only furniture bank in the area, so despite the $0 pay, I'm proud to have the title of Executive Volunteer. ♥
