Bring 3D Mammography to CMMC

Help Bring 3D Mammography to Claiborne Memorial Medical Center

The Claiborne Healthcare Foundation is raising funds to bring a 3D mammogram machine to Claiborne Memorial Medical Center, giving women in our community access to better breast cancer screening close to home.

This project is deeply important to our parish. Early detection saves lives, and 3D mammography can help detect breast cancer earlier and more accurately, especially for women with dense breast tissue. Right now, many women must travel outside our community for this level of care, creating added hardship for those facing barriers such as distance, time off work, transportation, and cost.

Our goal is to raise approximately $320,000 to purchase and install this much-needed technology. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we have already raised about $170,000. We are incredibly grateful for the progress that has been made, but we still need the community’s help to close the gap and make this life-saving service available at CMMC.

Every donation brings us one step closer to ensuring women in Claiborne Parish have access to advanced breast screening right here at home. Together, we can make a lasting difference for mothers, daughters, sisters, friends, and neighbors across our community.
