Keeana's Giving Story

To be honest, I didn’t even know the Renzi Education and Art Center existed until I was introduced to it while living in a local shelter. I first walked through those doors just looking for a path forward, and I ended up finding a foundation that completely shifted the direction of my life.

While working at Renzi, I balanced my new responsibilities with my classes at Bossier Parish Community College. I eventually graduated and transitioned into my current role as an AmeriCorps VISTA and Community Liaison. Today, I get to build the same bridges for others that helped me succeed.

I’m raising money for the Renzi Center because I am living proof of the magic that happens here. We provide free, high-quality after-school art and academic classes for K-12 youth. For many of these kids, just like it was for me, Renzi is a safe haven where they can discover their talents and feel like they belong.
