My name is Holly Kennedy-Jones, and God has blessed me with a gift to care for HIS animals in need. I currently have 5 rescue dogs, 4 rescue cats, goats, chickens and even turkeys! Whew...that's alot...so with that being said, I've decided to participate in the DeSoto Parish Animal Shelter's first annual "Slumber Pawty" nationwide fundraiser! I've chosen a rescue to stay with overnight, for 24 hours, at the Animal Shelter to bring you live updates in an effort to reach my goal of $1,000! These funds will stay in DeSoto Parish, and will be used for the spay/neuter program which will help maintain control of the overpopulation issues we face.
